The official handbook

Everything on the test comes from the Rules of the Road: State of Wyoming Driver License Manual (Class C). Read it alongside the practice tests. Our chapter-by-chapter guide.

Renewing your license

WYDOT lists no age-based testing; medical and vision standards are not age related. Every renewal needs a vision screening, and a skills test may be required at the examiner's discretion. You can renew by mail or online every other renewal (once in 10 years). WYDOT mails an application 120 days before expiration, and you may renew up to one year early.
